Create powerful search queries with ease.

This week we’re launching our new super-powerful email Search tool. We’ve been working on it for a while now, and we’re beginning to wonder how we ever lived without it here at Hiri HQ.

Search is important. We all spend time every day looking for information in our email. And searching for an email can take 20% less time than looking through folders (research has shown that relying heavily on folders is a bad strategy for managing email). But if you want to do an advanced search, you often have to learn where to put quotation marks, parentheses or colons.

We wanted to make advanced search accessible for everyone. As you can see from the animation above, in Hiri, all you need to do is click on tags to create powerful search queries. For example, you can very quickly combine tags that let you:

• See all the unread emails in your inbox today, this week or this month
• Search for an email inside a specific folder, that you sent to a particular recipient
• Search for meeting invites that you received in the last week that have an attachment

Prefer to type? Start typing a tag title and you can form the tag by hitting enter.

As you are a paying customer, all you need to do is update to the latest version of Hiri. Just close Hiri, open it up again and you will be prompted to update.
